Description

This is Pearl, a darling little Splash bantam Araucana hen. I have kept three of her blue daughters as breeders and one will have her first show at Shawnee in December. Pearl has a great disposition and lays an amazingly large egg (1.6 oz!) with ease. A trait which she has passed on to her daughters who all lay larger than normal bantam eggs. Besides using this hen to breed 100% blues crossed on a black cockerel you might want to use her with a Golden Duckwing to get Blue Golden Duckwings, and cross her on a BB Red for Blue Red chicks, etc. This little hen has always had excellent fertility and hatchability . Her blue daughters are some of my best colored blues. Box and shipping on this hen will be a fixed $45 (my cost). For $5 more on shipping she can be shipped in the same box with any of my other bantams I have for sale this week.
